Privacy Policy
Last updated September 16, 2026
This policy explains what ArgusPay collects, why, who sees it, and what you can do about it. The short version: we keep the minimum needed to run launches and payouts, most of what we handle is already public on X or on the Arc blockchain, and we do not run advertising trackers.
1. What we collect
- Launch submissions. The token name, ticker, image, description, links, the X handle to be paid, the wallet address that requested the launch, and the signed message proving control of that address.
- Handle lookups. When you type a handle on the Launch page, we ask X for that account’s public name, avatar and verification status. We cache the answer briefly and keep it for accounts that are named on a token.
- Recipient and payout records. For each named handle: the public profile data above, the ledger of claims and balances, payout amounts, the X Money reference an operator enters when settling, and the id of the public confirmation post.
- Blockchain data. Everything the indexer reads from Arc is public: launches, swaps, transfers, balances and claims for tokens launched through ArgusPay.
- Technical data. Server logs with IP address, user agent, requested path and time, kept for operating and securing the site.
- Browser storage. The site remembers your sidebar preference and your wallet connection in your browser. It sets no advertising or analytics cookies.
We do not collect passwords, seed phrases or private keys, and we never ask for them.
2. How we use it
- to submit launches to Argus and record the resulting tokens;
- to claim creator shares and keep an accurate ledger of who is owed what;
- to settle payouts through X Money and publish the confirmation;
- to honour do-not-pay requests and enforce launch limits;
- to keep the service secure, detect abuse and control API spend;
- to comply with the law, including sanctions and tax rules where they apply.
3. Who sees it
- Everyone. Token metadata, the image URL and the named handle are written to the Arc blockchain and displayed on Argus and on this site. Payout confirmations are public posts on X. None of this can be recalled once published.
- X Corp. Handle lookups and confirmation posts go through the X API, and payouts go through X Money, each under X Corp’s privacy policy.
- Infrastructure providers. Our hosting provider, Arc RPC providers, and Argus receive the requests needed to run the service.
- Authorities. When the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
We do not sell personal data and do not share it with advertisers.
4. How long we keep it
Blockchain data is permanent by nature. Ledger, claim and payout records are kept for as long as the service runs and as long as accounting or legal duties require. Server logs are rotated within 30 days. Cached handle lookups expire within minutes unless the handle is named on a token.
5. Your choices and rights
- Recipients can stop payments in X Money or ask us to add their handle to the do-not-pay list and remove it from the site. Write from the handle, or with reasonable proof of control, to admin@arguspay.proor @ArgusPay.
- Launchers can ask what we hold about their address. We cannot change what is on chain.
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your data, or to object to or restrict its use. Email admin@arguspay.pro and we will respond within the time the law allows.
6. Security
Secrets are kept in restricted server files, traffic is encrypted, and the treasury key never leaves the server that runs the pipeline. No system is perfectly secure, and you should treat anything you put on chain as permanently public.
7. Children
The service is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the current version. Questions and requests go to admin@arguspay.pro.
